Nogales: Cargo Inspection Pilot Launched

Under the Unified Cargo Processing pilot, CBP and Mexico’s Tax Administration Service (SAT) will conduct joint cargo clearance examinations at the Arizona Port of Nogales Mariposa cargo facility—eliminating separate inspections and subsequently reducing wait times at the border.  Check out the full CBP announcement here. FCC Data Requirements on Entry Summary Removed

Per CBP: “Effective July 1, 2016, FCC flags were removed to comply the with Federal Register Notice allowing trade to be exempt from filing FCC data until the regulations are updated to no longer require the submission of FCC data on electronic entry summaries.
